Maison Rahel was born from a long friendship between two women, one Ashkenazi, one Sephardi, each shaped by distinct traditions, rituals, family tables and culinary memories.
At the heart of their shared vision lies a common belief: that women have long been the guardians of transmission — carrying recipes, gestures, celebrations and traditions from one generation to the next.
Maison Rahel grew from this heritage, and from a desire to create ritual and table objects with greater subtlety, pieces that feel refined, timeless and deeply rooted, without excess.

Textiles
Our embroidered textiles are designed as a dialogue between fabric, colour and the Hebrew letters.
Crafted from carefully selected natural materials, including cotton, linen, silk and velvet, each piece is chosen for its texture, drape and the way it enriches the rituals of the table. Across our challah covers, table napkins and kippot, embroidery becomes a subtle expression of identity and transmission.

Textile Block Print
Our Seven Species textiles are created using the ancient art of hand block printing, a traditional craft that celebrates both the beauty of the handmade and the richness of imperfection.
The motif, inspired by the Seven Species of the Land of Israel, wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives and dates is printed by hand using carved wooden blocks. Each impression is applied individually, giving every piece its own subtle variations and character.
Featured across our table linens and textiles, the Seven Species pattern is a celebration of abundance, hospitality and the joy of gathering around the table. It brings together a timeless artisanal technique and a deeply meaningful symbol of blessing and transmission.

Candles
Our Pillar and Mystic candles are created in collaboration with a traditional candle maker in Provence, where centuries-old craftsmanship meets contemporary design.
They are crafted using the historic dipping technique, a method dating back to the fifteenth century. Carefully selected cotton wicks are first attached to wooden rods in a process known as wicking. The rods are then placed onto large frames and repeatedly immersed in wax heated to 70°C. Layer after layer, the wax gradually builds around the wick until the desired diameter and silhouette are achieved.
This slow and meticulous process requires patience, precision and the expert hand of the candle maker. It gives our candles their exceptional quality, beautiful finish and long, even burn.
Designed as objects of light and ritual, our Pillar and Mystic candles accompany moments of gathering, celebration and contemplation. Whether illuminating a festive table or bringing warmth to a quiet interior, they embody the beauty of time-honoured gestures and the poetry of the flame.

Terracotta
Adama, the Hebrew word for "earth," evokes our connection to the land, to nature and to the cycles that shape Jewish life and the seasons of celebration.
Our Adama collection is handcrafted in terracotta by skilled artisans who shape and fire clay using time-honoured techniques that celebrate the beauty of natural materials and the richness of handmade objects.
Each piece reveals the warm tones, subtle textures and gentle variations that make terracotta so distinctive. To preserve the natural beauty of the clay while making it suitable for everyday use, each piece is finished with a food-safe sealer that protects the surface while maintaining the tactile warmth and organic character of the terracotta.
